About MRI Pune

MRI Pune, operating through the website mripune.in, is an online diagnostic scan booking platform based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. We are registered as a healthcare intermediary and digital booking facilitator.

MRI Pune acts as a connecting platform between patients and NABL-accredited diagnostic imaging centres across Pune. We do not directly own or operate MRI or CT scan machines. The actual diagnostic services — scanning, reporting, and radiology — are performed by our independent partner diagnostic centres.

Our Role: We help you find the right scan centre, compare prices, book appointments, and get your reports conveniently — all in one place.

Services We Provide

MRI Pune provides the following services through mripune.in:

Online appointment booking for MRI scans, CT scans, and other diagnostic imaging tests at partner centres in Pune
Price comparison and transparent pricing information across partner centres
Assistance in identifying the appropriate scan type based on doctor’s prescription
Booking confirmation and appointment reminders via WhatsApp, SMS, and email
Facilitation of digital report delivery from partner centres to patients
Customer support for queries related to appointments, pricing, and preparations
Insurance and TPA assistance for eligible patients

We are continuously expanding our partner network across Pune localities including Swargate, Hadapsar, Kothrud, Baner, Wakad, Aundh, Hinjewadi, Viman Nagar, and Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Eligibility & Use of This Website

By accessing and using mripune.in, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years of age, or are booking on behalf of a minor with proper parental/guardian consent
The information you provide during booking is accurate, complete, and truthful
You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them
You are booking for a genuine medical diagnostic need based on a valid doctor’s recommendation

⚠️ If you are booking on behalf of another person (a family member or patient), you confirm that you have their consent to share their personal and medical information with us for the purpose of booking.

Booking & Appointments

Appointment Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive a confirmation message (WhatsApp/SMS/email) from MRI Pune with your appointment reference number, centre address, date, and time.

Slot Availability

All bookings are subject to the availability of slots at the partner diagnostic centre. MRI Pune will make every effort to accommodate your preferred time but cannot guarantee a specific slot if it is unavailable.

What to Carry

Valid doctor’s prescription mentioning the specific scan required
Government-issued photo ID (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, or Passport)
Previous scan reports or medical records, if any
Insurance card or TPA letter, if claiming cashless benefits
Your appointment confirmation message (WhatsApp or printout)

Rescheduling

You may reschedule your appointment free of charge up to 4 hours before the scheduled time, subject to slot availability at the centre. Only one free reschedule is allowed per booking. Additional rescheduling may be subject to charges.

Cancellation by MRI Pune

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your appointment due to equipment breakdown, centre unavailability, or any other reason on our part, you will be offered either a full refund or a complimentary reschedule at your convenience.

Pricing & Payments

Pricing

All prices displayed on mripune.in are indicative and inclusive of the scan procedure and radiologist’s report, unless stated otherwise
Contrast dye charges, if applicable to your scan, are additional and will be communicated clearly at the time of booking confirmation
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured
GST (Goods and Services Tax) is applicable as per prevailing government norms and will be included in the final invoice

Payment Methods

Payments are processed securely through the PhonePe Payment Gateway. We accept:

UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM UPI)
Credit Cards and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
Net Banking
Mobile Wallets

Security: MRI Pune does not store your payment card information on our servers. All transactions are encrypted and processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure.

Insurance & Cashless Claims

We are empanelled with major insurance providers and TPA (Third Party Administrators). Cashless facility is available for eligible patients. Please carry your insurance card and confirm cashless eligibility with us before your appointment. MRI Pune is not liable for delays or rejections in insurance claims.

Patient Responsibilities

As a patient booking through MRI Pune, you are responsible for:

Arriving at least 10–15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time
Following all preparation instructions provided (fasting, hydration, clothing, etc.) before your scan
Disclosing all relevant medical history to the scan centre staff, including pacemakers, metallic implants, surgical hardware, allergies, kidney conditions, or pregnancy
Removing all metal objects including jewellery, belts, hairpins, and hearing aids before the scan
Informing the centre staff immediately if you feel unwell or anxious during the procedure
Bringing a valid doctor’s prescription for the specific scan ordered

⚠️ Failure to follow preparation instructions or disclose important medical history may result in the scan being unable to proceed. In such cases, no refund will be applicable. Please read the preparation guide provided at the time of booking carefully.

Reports & Results

Scan reports are typically delivered within 2–4 hours for standard scans and within 24–48 hours for complex studies, depending on the partner centre
Reports are delivered digitally via WhatsApp and/or email. Hard copies and CD/DVD image copies are also available from the centre on request
Reports are prepared and digitally signed by DNB/MD qualified radiologists at the partner centre
MRI Pune facilitates report delivery but is not responsible for the clinical content, accuracy, or interpretation of reports issued by partner diagnostic centres
In the rare event of a technical issue with image quality, the centre may need to repeat part of the scan. This will be communicated to you promptly

Important: Scan reports are diagnostic tools meant to assist your treating doctor. Please consult your doctor for medical advice and treatment decisions based on the report. Do not self-diagnose or self-medicate based on the report.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our detailed Refund & Cancellation Policy is available at mripune.in/refund-policy. A summary is provided here:

Cancellation 24+ hours before appointment: 100% refund
Cancellation 4–24 hours before appointment: 50% refund
Cancellation less than 4 hours / No-show: No refund
Cancellation by MRI Pune: 100% refund or free reschedule

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. To request a cancellation, contact us via WhatsApp or call on +91 70201 60976 with your booking reference number.

Limitation of Liability

MRI Pune’s role is limited to facilitating the booking of diagnostic scan appointments at partner centres. Accordingly:

MRI Pune is not a medical service provider and does not provide any medical, diagnostic, or clinical services directly
We are not liable for the clinical accuracy, completeness, or interpretation of diagnostic reports issued by partner centres
We are not responsible for any adverse reactions, injuries, or complications that may occur during or after the scan procedure at a partner centre
We are not liable for delays in report delivery caused by the partner centre or technical issues beyond our control
Our maximum liability in any dispute is limited to the amount paid by the patient for the specific booking in question

By using our platform, you acknowledge that MRI Pune acts solely as an intermediary and that the diagnostic centre is solely responsible for the quality and accuracy of medical services rendered.

Intellectual Property

All content on mripune.in — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, page layouts, icons, images, and software — is the exclusive property of MRI Pune and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, copy, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any content from this website without our prior written permission
The MRI Pune name, logo, and brand elements are our trademarks and may not be used without written consent
Any unauthorised use of our content may result in legal action

Privacy & Data Protection

We value and respect your privacy. When you use our platform, you share personal information including your name, phone number, email address, and health-related information. This data is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your diagnostic scan booking.

Your personal and medical information is shared only with the partner diagnostic centre where your appointment is booked
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes
Payment information is processed through the PhonePe gateway and is not stored on our servers
We may use your contact details to send booking confirmations, appointment reminders, and important service updates
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at contact.mripune@gmail.com

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and other applicable regulations.

Any disputes arising from the use of MRI Pune’s services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to first contact our customer support team to resolve the matter amicably
MRI Pune reserves the right to modify, update, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date
Continued use of mripune.in after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms
