At MRI Pune, we understand that medical plans can change unexpectedly. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled when you book a diagnostic scan through our platform. Please read this carefully before confirming your appointment.
1. About Our Platform
MRI Pune is an online scan booking platform that connects patients with independent, third-party diagnostic and radiology centers across Pune. We facilitate the booking process — we do not own or operate the diagnostic centers directly. Refund eligibility may therefore depend on the individual center’s cancellation terms in addition to our platform policy.
2. Cancellation by the Patient
- If you cancel your appointment 24 hours or more before the scheduled scan time, you are eligible for a full refund of any amount paid through the MRI Pune platform.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, a cancellation fee may apply depending on the diagnostic center’s policy. MRI Pune will communicate this clearly at the time of cancellation.
- No-shows — if you do not arrive for your appointment without prior cancellation, you may not be eligible for a refund.
3. Rescheduling Your Appointment
- You can reschedule your appointment at no additional charge if done at least 24 hours before the scheduled scan time.
- Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the appointment are subject to center availability and may not always be accommodated.

4. Cancellation by MRI Pune or the Diagnostic Center
In rare cases, a diagnostic center may cancel your appointment due to:
- Equipment maintenance or technical issues
- Center closure due to unforeseen circumstances
- Overbooking or scheduling errors
In any such case, MRI Pune will ensure a full refund of the amount paid or offer you a rescheduled appointment at your convenience — whichever you prefer.
5. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5 to 7 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
- If payment was made via cash or direct transfer to the diagnostic center, the refund will be coordinated directly with that center.
- MRI Pune will keep you informed throughout the refund process via WhatsApp or phone.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be applicable in the following cases:
- The scan has already been completed at the diagnostic center.
- Cancellation was made after the scan appointment time had already passed.
- The patient provided incorrect personal or medical information at the time of booking, leading to an incorrect scan being scheduled.
- Dissatisfaction with the scan report or diagnosis — MRI Pune is a booking platform and is not responsible for clinical outcomes or radiologist interpretations.
7. Partial Refunds
In certain situations, a partial refund may be issued — for example, if a multi-scan booking is partially cancelled or if a service fee is applicable. MRI Pune will clearly explain any deductions before processing a partial refund.
